Learn to DJ like the Pros
Through working with NextGen Music, students will feel closer to their favourite music more than ever.
Students will learn to listen acutely and critically, to improvise, to compose and to perform. Going from blending two tracks to performing a seamless journey through a curated and composed selection of music.
A New Option for
GCSE Music
As education evolves, so too does the way in which students can demonstrate their musical abilities. GCSE Music students now have the opportunity to use DJ decks as their instrument of choice for their performance. We’ve had a number of students take GCSE music, and they have all achieved great results for their performances!
The use of DJ decks allows students to explore new and exciting possibilities, blending different tracks and incorporating live instruments with their classmates in a performance setting. This provides them with an endless range of possibilities to express themselves and showcase their talents in a modern and innovative way.
Not only does this approach allow students to showcase their creativity and technical abilities, but it also helps them develop important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and technical proficiency. These skills are highly valued by employers and will help students succeed in a wide range of careers.
Learn to Produce Electronic Music
At NextGen Music, we also teach electronic music production alongside our flagship DJ tuition in schools. We’re proud to be delivering classroom sessions using a fully fledged curriculum to take students from complete beginners to producing like pros!
Our course utilises the browser-based Soundtrap software, meaning no installation costs to schools, and students can access their projects anywhere, anytime.
Students who sign up for music production lessons at schools will receive a FREE premium Soundtrap account.
