🎉 Almost there! One last step to complete your nomination
You’ve taken the first step toward bringing DJ lessons - and a free Pioneer DJ kit - to your child’s school.
There’s just one more step to complete your nomination:
Please contact your school to let them know you’ve nominated them.
This is important because the school must submit the Official Entry for your nomination to become a Valid Entry in the free lesson prize draw.
The fastest way to do this is by emailing your Headteacher or Head of Music using the template below.
📧 Email Your School
Copy the message below and send it to your Headteacher or Head of Music:
Subject: Free DJ Workshop & Equipment for Our School
Hi {{ Teacher Name }},
I wanted to share something exciting - I’ve nominated our school to receive a free DJ workshop and a free Pioneer DJ equipment bundle from NextGen Music.
All you need to do is complete the short “Official Entry” form below (or email them at office@nextgenmusic.org).
There’s no cost and no admin required from the school - NextGen Music handles everything, including all parent sign-ups.
Here’s the link to register the school’s interest:

🔔 A quick reminder:
Your nomination becomes a Valid Entry into the prize draw for one term of free DJ lessons only when the school submits their Official Entry.
We’ll notify you as soon as your school completes that step.
🎧 Thank you again - you’re helping bring something exciting into your child’s school.
What schools actually get
🎧 A pair of DJ decks for use in school
🧑🏫 A free DJ workshop to get students started
💡 Simple guidance for teachers on how to use the decks in lessons or clubs
-
Not automatically. Nominations help us identify which schools are interested. We then invite schools to claim their free decks and workshop. We have a limited number available, so not every school will be selected.
-
After a parent nominates a school, the school needs to submit their Official Entry to confirm they’re happy to take part in a free DJ workshop.
Once that’s done, the parent’s entry becomes valid and is added to the prize draw.
We’ll randomly select the main winner and runners-up after the campaign ends.
-
No. The decks and initial workshop are part of our giveaway. There’s no obligation for the school to book anything further.
-
We’ll only use your details to manage this giveaway and (if you tick the box) send you occasional updates. We won’t sell your data to anyone.
“It has been wonderful to have NextGen teaching DJing at Bishop Luffa. They’ve inspired many of our students and they all really enjoy the lessons. We have 2 students taking GCSE Music and are offering DJing as their Performing Component. This has enabled us to offer GCSE Music to a wider audience. Many thanks NextGen!

“Hi, I’m Deen, the founder of NextGen Music. With over a decade of DJing experience across stages and studios, I started NextGen Music to share the art of DJing directly with schools. Rated five stars by students and parents alike, our workshops have helped hundreds of young people discover a new way to love music through a fun, accessible curriculum.
Our approach goes beyond teaching the technical skills of DJing where we aim to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for music. Our curriculum has been designed to meet the AQA, OCR and Eduqas GCSE Music examination criteria and to ensure that each student leaves with valuable skills and a sense of accomplishment. I look forward to bringing this unique experience to your school and opening up new musical possibilities for your students.
