A Three-Stage DJ Curriculum

Debut. Breakthrough. Artist

The course we teach is engaging, accessible and helps students take their music learning to the next level. It was developed by FutureDJs through close work with the AQA and OCS education boards, along with LCME to make the course accredited at Grades 1, 3 and 5.

We believe music education boosts a young person's confidence and develops their communication, problem -solving and critical thinking skills, giving them skills to flourish in all walks of life.

Through DJing, students can learn the fundamentals of music and open a gateway to a whole new world of music production, songwriting, and composing. In our study programme, we teach music using decks and live performance technology. Whether music is learnt using a piano or a sequencer, the outcome is the same. We cover what underpins music; from timbre, tempo, and pitch through to texture, rhythm, and scales.

Upon graduating each stage of the curriculum, students will receive an official NextGen Music certificate to celebrate their accomplishment!
