DJing - A New Option for GCSE Music!
We teach using the FutureDJs programme of DJing. This course provides students taking a GCSE in Music the opportunity to choose DJing as their performance option in accordance with, AQA, OCR, and Eduqas GCSE specifications.
The principles, techniques, and knowledge taught in the course have been designed to meet the examination criteria for the various examination boards, providing students with the required expertise to be successful throughout their chosen examination board domain.
If a student follows the course through to the Artist stage showing ‘exceptional ability to demonstrate technical control, expression, and interpretation with excellent accuracy and sense of style’, they will achieve full marks for their GCSE performance.
That’s not to say only GCSE students can take lessons; we offer lessons to students of all ages, and are finding our work with schools is generating a real buzz around the music department in schools, and in turn, increasing the number of students choosing to take GCSE Music as an option!
